Shaving with a double edge razor can be an enjoyable and economical alternative to using disposable or cartridge razors. Here are some steps to help you get started:
Prepare your skin: Start by washing your face with warm water to open your pores and soften the hair. This will make it easier to shave and reduce the risk of nicks and cuts.
Open the butterfly clasp: Rotate your Minim Eco Razor anti-clockwise to open the butterfly clasp. Carefully place the double blade into position and turn the razor clockwise to lock.
Lather up: Apply a good quality shaving cream or soap to your face, using a brush to create a rich lather. This will help to lift the hair and protect your skin.
Hold the razor correctly: Hold the handle of the razor with your dominant hand and angle the blade at about 30 degrees against your skin. Your other hand should be used to pull your skin taut.
Shave with the grain: Start by shaving in the direction of the hair growth (with the grain). This will reduce the risk of irritation and provide a closer shave.
Re-lather and repeat: After your first pass, re-lather and make another pass, this time going against the grain for a closer shave.
Rinse and moisturise: Rinse your face with cold water to close your pores and remove any remaining shaving cream. Finish by applying a moisturiser to soothe your skin.
It may take a bit of practice to get used to using a double edged razor, but with time and patience, you'll find it to be a rewarding and enjoyable experience. Plus you're being sustainable! Remember to always use a light touch and take your time, especially when learning.

Couldn’t be without it. Where has it been all my life! I was put onto this by my hairdresser (it was 50% off with a colour treatment). Like most products, I was like sure I will try it. Well, I take that back. It smell nice, it feels nice, and has saved my blonde colour treated hair. Which is now so soft and gorgeous if I say so myself! I don’t use quite as much as they recommend as I’m tight, but the results are stunning. Please tell everyone!!!
Love this - I use it just once per week alongside a bond repair shampoo (as part of Abbey Yung method) - I love that my hair fewla aoft and hydrated but incredibly clean!

I have used this for a number of years. First to help blond hair not get that yellow tone. Now since I no longer colour my hair it helps the white hair. Gives it some colour and lift. I only use a small amount, so turning my hair purple.
